IMPORTANT: Every skater and rider has to have a signed waiver on file.
For skaters and riders 18 and over, you must have a valid I.D. to prove your age. If you are under 18 you MUST have a parent or court appointed legal guardian's signature. If the waiver is not signed in front of our Staff, it MUST be notorized (most banks, post offices, libraries offer the service for free). A friend's parent or sibling CAN NOT sign the waiver for you.
Helmets must be worn in the ramp areas at ALL times.
Go Live at Haven Skate Park!
It's time to start rockin' at Haven Skate Park. The plan is to have bands play here at the park on a monthly basis. We started a gmail account for anyone wanting to get a show at Haven. Please email “Los” at havenskaterock@gmail.com.
Red Bull Jersey Barrier Contest
Wednesday Nights, from 6–10PM
Day One, along with 11 other shops, have been selected to receive a Red Bull Jersey Barrier to skate whenever and wherever they like. Redbull will be launching the website RedbullJerseyBarriers.com in which each shop will have its own section within the site. Day One will be uploading clips of tricks going down on their jersey barrier, which people can click on to vote for it and post a comment. There will be a separate page with the top 5 clips based on votes that will constantly update. On October 1st 2008 the top five clips will be voted on by the Red Bull skateboard team and the wining clip will get: $ 1000 to the skater, $1000 to the filmer, and $1000 to the shop. Come and get it!
August 21 - Zoo York pro skater Donny Barley @ Haven Skate Park
Our last week of our summer ramp camp is coming up, and there is going to be a guest instructor:
Zoo York pro skater Donny Barley will be at the park to instruct and skate with all campers on Thursday, Aug. 21st during our camp hours. This is going to be a great opportunity to learn from a pro and most importantly to have fun skateboarding and hanging out with Donny for the day.
Hurry and register, this is our last week of camp, so it will fill quickly. Spots are limited.
August 24 - Food Art Noise Skate BMX
Haven Skate Park's Art Flea Market and Auction, Noon to 5PM. Free for all ages.
BENEFIT ART SHOW (selected pieces priced for 50 bucks or less). Proceeds to bring the sound to the park. VENDORS. BARBECUE. LIVE MUSIC (The Richards, the Black Noise Scam, the Vultures and No Image).
August 30 - Haven or Hell-B-QUE
Summer Blowout Event–1st place cash prize, live music & BBQ. Starts at 9AM and lasts all day.
Contests include: tic tac races, most consecutive pogos, highest hippy jump, stick slap AND MORE!

Monday through Friday, the park will not open until 2PM
Mondays, girls skate for $5
